Clare Makes.

Clare Makes approached me to do a rebrand for their home fragrance business with the aim of differentiating from other candle makers and increasing brand awareness.

While we wanted to keep the packaging modern and clean, the owner requested that her logo retain a hand-crafted feeling as suggested in the name Clare Makes. With that in mind, I designed a custom hand-lettered word mark that still feels modern and engaging, and creates a visual contrast with the minimal geometric candle labels.
